The Brief
inKONBINI is built around the quiet comfort of everyday life in a small-town Japanese convenience store. For the physical edition, we wanted to bring that feeling into a tangible form. The goal was to create a package that felt as though it naturally belonged in the game's world, something Aunt Hina might have prepared for Makoto and left waiting on the counter.
Packaging Direction
Kraft material helped create a warm, slightly rustic texture, while clean print execution kept the artwork clear for display. Material strength and structural stability were also considered so the box could withstand repeated opening, closing, and handling without losing its simple, familiar feel.
